KAIZEN

Look at the way he hits all the high notes. You might think he sounds feminine. But he can hit notes on a higher octave than most of the opera singers. Sounds like some Fifth Element shit. That’s Kaizen, this most likely took decades to do. Its called mastery. 1% improvement over time.

Kaizen (改善) is the Japanese word for “improvement”. In business, kaizen refers to activities that continuously improve all functions and involve all employees from the CEO to the assembly line workers. It also applies to processes, such as purchasing and logistics, that cross organizational boundaries into the supply chain.[1] It has been applied in healthcare,[2] psychotherapy,[3] life-coaching, government, and banking.

REMEMBER WHEN I TOLD YOU MOTHER FUCKERS TO WATCH AT LEAST 3 WAYNE 30 VIDEOS A DAY? AND 2 PLAYBOOK? HOW MANY OF YOUR SORRY ASSES HAVE DONE SO? RAISE OF HANDS? OH NONE.

EVEN IF YOU CAN’T PRACTICE, THE IDEA OF KAIZEN MEANS DAILY IMPROVEMENT. EVEN IF ITS 1% IMPROVEMENT.

I’VE BEEN COPYWRITING FOR ALMOST A FULL YEAR NOW. ALL THE TIME. I’VE GOTTEN BETTER NOW THAN WHEN I STARTED.

RSD STYLE SPAM APPROACH ISN’T KAIZEN. ITS CALLED STUPID. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.

ITS ALL ABOUT BUILDING GOOD HABITS.

LETS BE REAL HERE, NONE OF YOU KAIZEN SHIT.

I’VE BEEN KAIZENING WRITING BLOG POST AND I WROTE LIKE 7 IN ONE DAY. THIS IS THE 6TH. HOW THE FUCK DOES ANYONE DO THAT?

BECAUSE I KAIZEN IT.

WHEN I TALK TO GUYS, I NOTICED I’M NOT SO REFINED. BUT WHEN I TALK TO GIRLS, I BECOME A TOTAL NATURAL.

SOME OTHER PERSON JUST TALKS FOR ME BECAUSE I KAIZENED IT FOR 17 YEARS.

KAIZEN. YOU AIN’T KAIZEN SHIT, YOU QUIT BEFORE YOU CAN FINISH. YOU QUIT BEFORE A MONTH.

Update:

  1. Probably one of your best posts. This concept of Kaizen is so on point, I am angry with myself I have gone through life without it.

Daily improvement is what leads to greatness. Not a ton of effort done once in a while. Like the guy that kills it in the gym once every few weeks, compared to the guy who shows up everyday and does a 1% workout. At the end of the year, the 1% guy has not improved 365%…he has improved many orders of magnitude more. Every day he added 1% of what he had the day before. It compounds.

Damn, this was an inspiring post. Thanks, John Wayne. Your brand of no-nonsense tough love is pretty great. I can tell you care.

Ok, I’m putting on my running shoes and going out the door. I need to do the work.

    • In bootcamps I do teach pareto principle 80/20 rule. Fast improvements. But when the student gets back home from a bootcamp or Skype. They have to Kaizen. That’s how I designed Wayne 30: From Hardcase To Hero. Easy or Normal cases can use pareto principle. For the rest of the hardcases, if they don’t Kaizen Wayne 30, they are fucked. Will be socially retarded. -John Wayne
