In copywriting, one thing I learned is to create a control, vs variant.

A control means its working

A variant sales letter will challenge in a split test to see what works the best.

If the variant can beat the control, then the variant becomes the new control

I am curious to see if a more simplified wording of the sales letters, at a grade 5 level, vs grade 12 will make a bigger difference?
