A lot of people seem to be stuck in the freeze gear and that’s not good.
You need to go from freeze to drive.
That’s like putting your car in reverse and then shifting it into drive.
You gotta keep moving forward.
I’m thinking about teaching people some self-defense on YouTube.
I might show them some Israeli Krav Maga.
That’s a type of martial arts that can help people switch from the freeze gear to the fight gear.
The goal is to block and hit at the same time, always staying in attack mode and taking advantage of your opponent’s weaknesses.
But it’s not just about physical moves.
You need to have this kind of mindset in your brain too.
Don’t just freeze up,
But keep moving forward and don’t let anything hold you back.
Teaching Autistic Students with Flashcards
I’ve been experimenting with using flashcards to teach students who have autism and corpus callosum issues with their brain.
These students can struggle to process more than two steps at a time,
and when they try to do three steps, their brain can become overwhelmed and cause them to go out of control.
This is what I call the “zombie step.”
To avoid this, it’s important to follow a structure or algorithm.
While a strict structure may seem too rigid, a game of algorithms can help the students adapt in real-time.
Games that use tactics are often better suited for autistic individuals as they only require one step at a time instead of three.
But the problem is women can tell its too autistic

The goal is to shift from the “zombie step” to a more human-like approach.
By using flashcards and practicing regularly, the students can become more confident in their ability to handle three steps.
