Let’s get real about black students in daygame.
Everyone assumes all black guys have high SMV, right?
You see one of my students with 100 lays and you instantly think, “Well, of course, he’s black—must be easy for him.”
But that’s not how it works.
This guy didn’t start out as a player.
Back during the pandemic, he was stuck—couldn’t approach, making excuses, paralyzed by all the logical, mystery-method bullshit.

He’s still stuck on the hybrid opener, massive approach anxiety, moving slow as molasses.
So, no, not all black guys just walk in and dominate.
Yes, being tall, muscular, and confident gives you a huge edge.
If you’ve got that “confident black guy” energy, you get pre-selected, especially by white women.
That’s where the “jungle fever” stereotype comes from—women see that strong presence and they’re drawn in, even if the guy’s face isn’t model-tier.
But if you’re not confident?
If you’re short, anxious, or you lean into “Negro fashion”—Afro, sideburns, baggy clothes, sneakers, the whole look—you’re not getting that 8/10 perceived natural status.
You’re not getting pre-selected.
You’re just another guy struggling in daygame.
And let’s be honest—nobody wants to say it, but if you don’t have confidence, your SMV drops fast.
You could be three out of ten, no matter your skin color.
So if you’re a black student reading this, don’t fall for the myth.
It’s not automatic.
You need confidence, you need presence, and you need to ditch the excuses.

Let’s talk about the flip side—because not all black students are good at daygame.
There’s a stereotype out there that every black guy is confident, smooth, and just cleans up with women.
But that’s not reality.
Some black students actually struggle a lot.
A big part of it comes down to approach anxiety—some are extremely timid, way more than you’d expect.
And then there’s alexithymia.
A lot of black students I’ve worked with have this—meaning, they just can’t identify or express their emotions.
They get triggered easily, but they don’t actually feel anything on the inside.
It’s like their emotions are locked away, and that makes it really hard to adapt or improve.
I’ve seen this play out with a few students.
One was an Asian guy in the U.S.—no working memory, always triggered, but nothing going on inside emotionally.
Another was a black student from London—similar deal.
He’s got a memory, but it’s not great.
He has to play my audio lessons 40 times just to make things stick.
That’s another thing—narcissism.
It’s not just a stereotype.
Once some black students start getting results, they get complacent.
They stop practicing social calibration, stop drilling, and just rely on their “vibe.”
They think their good energy will get them the next lay, and sometimes it does… but eventually, it catches up to them.
Here’s the truth:
If you’re not confident, if you’re carrying too much body fat, if you’re rocking a look that screams “fresh off the boat” or you’re dressing in a way that triggers negative stereotypes—your SMV drops hard.
Women, especially white women, are looking for that confident, athletic, well-dressed black guy.
If you don’t fit that positive stereotype, you’re going to struggle.
I feel sorry for the unconfident black students, honestly.
Their SMV is low, and they don’t even realize it.
No woman is lining up for a fat, bald black man in an old jacket and dark jeans with clunky sneakers.
It’s just not attractive.
A lot of these guys don’t even recognize how off-putting their look is, because they’re so stuck in their own world—sometimes to the point of being autistic about it.
And let’s be real—some black students are pretty narcissistic.
Not as much as some of the Chinese, Vietnamese, or Indian students, but it’s still there.
They get a few wins and think they know everything, but they stop doing what actually works.
If you want to succeed, you need to break the negative stereotypes and bandwagon on the positive ones.
Don’t fade your hair in a way that makes you look like a cliché.
Don’t dress in a way that triggers people’s worst assumptions.
You’ve got to be relatable, polished, and confident.
That’s the only way you’ll stand out for the right reasons and actually get results in daygame.
